Today’s fortune cookie note reads:
“Among the lucky, you are the chosen one.”
Well, I guess this means that you are super extra lucky to be the actual chosen one among all those lucky souls out there. But, shouldn’t it be more like “among the masses, you are the chose one?” If the fortune cookie said that, then I would have felt a bit more special and important. This fortune cookie was taken from weird fortune cookies. I don’t know how it’s weird; I think it’s pretty inspirational. No matter how much life gets you down, everything is not lost. Whatever happens, just know that there is someone in this world that is worse off than you.
Today’s fortune cookie note reads:
“You will be fortunate in the opportunities presented to you.”
We are all fortunate for the opportunities that are presented to us. The key, I think, is that we take advantage of these opportunities and turn them into successes.
