Today’s fortune cookie note reads:
“Doing what you like is freedom. Liking what you do is happiness.”
Is happiness and freedom two mutually exclusive feelings? Can one feel free, but not happy? Or how about the other way around, happy but not free? Some might argue yes. But I think when you are free, you are happy. I also think it takes freedom to be happy, and happiness to be truly free. A philosophical conundrum indeed.
